We have a longer school day so that adequate, daily, outdoor fresh air play time is incorporated for the health, socialization, and physical fitness of our students. 

All of our Early Childhood students receive at least two 30 minute recess times a day. 

Preschoolers additionally receive two 20 minute free choice play times inside daily.

Toddlers receive two additional 30 minute recesses inside on our play gym area. 

Our Elementary and Middle School students receive a 30 minute recess after lunch,

and a 15 minute afternoon recess.

If the heat index is too high or the wind chill is too low we have a reduced or full recess inside

in one of our school gyms, or classrooms.
