Kris received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education Degree from Washburn University. She holds a teaching license in the State of Kansas. She was a substitute teacher and outreach teacher in Topeka for 12 years. Kris also taught in USD 259 – Wichita Public Schools for 2 years. Mrs. Oursler is our upper elementary and middle school teacher. She started with Honey Tree and Branches Academy during the 2016-17 school year. Mrs. Oursler is phenomenal at connecting with older students, and enjoys teaching STEAM activities! She is versatile and very resourceful!
